Having grown up in a family in which everyone talked at the same time and in VERY LOUD voices, I realized at an early age that I’d need to find other means of communication if I was to be heard. Writing became a passion, and I was first nationally published at the age of sixteen. I filled journal upon journal with poetry (most of it angst-ridden) and short stories (most of them admittedly quite good), and by the time I reached high school, I knew I wanted to be a writer when I grew up. All that was left to accomplish was the growing up.
I’m still working on that part, but The Write Stuff is the culmination of decades of experience writing and publishing. In between projects, I manage to raise four kids, each of whom is more challenging than any assignment you could ever throw my way. So fear not…I am nothing if not flexible, respectful of deadlines, and low-maintenance.
